Luff’s first full-time drive in Supercars was with Dick Johnson Racing (DJR) in 2004. He did multiple co-driving stints with DJR between 2008 and 2010, but not before co-driving with Marcos Ambrose in 2005, driving full-time with Britek in 2006, and co-driving for Britek in 2007.

2005 was a big year for Luff who also finished runner-up in the Development Series driving for Paul Cruickshank Racing.

After a strong performance with DJR in 2010, Luff scored a full-time-drive in 2011 in the #30 Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport Commodore.

In 2012 Luff returned to co-driver duties and won the Sandown 500 and placed 3rd at the Bathurst 1000 alongside Craig Lowndes. In that same year Luff won the World Time Attack driving the famed ‘Nemo’ Evo.
