HSV first opened its doors to the public in February 1988 after unveiling the first ‘Walkinshaw’ at the Sydney Motor Show in 1987.

Over the years, HSV built an array of modified vehicles, most of which were based on Holden models powered by either Holden or GM sourced V8 engines. For 30 years HSV mastered a very specific vehicle fit for Australian tastes and purposes: the V8, four-door performance sedan that people aspired to own.

We are proud of our achievements spanning 4 decades in Australia’s automotive industry. HSV would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, partners, employees, and mostly, our die-hard fans & owners.
